In conjunction with the partnership between MyStudio and THE GRAMMY FOUNDATION, GRAMMY® Jazz Ensembles applicants can create their audition videos at MyStudio.

Selectees: The GRAMMY Jazz Ensembles program selects top high school instrumentalists and singers to receive an all-expenses-paid trip to perform in the Jazz Choir, Big Band or Combo at GRAMMY Week events.

Complete the Process in 6 Easy Steps:

1) Complete GRAMMY Jazz Ensembles online entry form at grammyintheschools.com.

2) Print application number & requirements that are sent via email from The GRAMMY Foundation.

3) Prepare audition materials and 3 selections according to requirements.

4) Visit any MyStudio location to record your audition videos free of charge. (Instructions to upload videos not made at MyStudio can be reviewed by clicking on the "ENTER" button below.)

5) Create a free profile, activate your videos, set to "Private" (include your APPLICATION NUMBER on the “TAG” line when you activate your videos).

6) Click the "ENTER" button below and follow the easy steps for each audition video being submitted.

Note: Your videos will automatically be sent to the GRAMMY Foundation when you click on the "ENTER" button, therefore, there will be no need to send DVDs of your performances.

Video Submission Steps

1) Complete the GRAMMY Jazz Ensembles online entry form at www.grammyintheschools.com.
    Only after completing this form will you be given your approved APPLICATION NUMBER.

2) Print out application number and requirements that are sent via email from The GRAMMY Foundation.

3) Prepare audition materials and song selections according to requirements located in each section below.

Uploading Audition Videos to MyStudio.net

4) Create a free MyStudio member profile. You will need to make sure you are logged in to complete the next step.

5) To upload your videos, click the “Enter” button below and follow the easy steps for each audition video being uploaded and submitted.

Recording and Submission of Videos Made at MyStudio

4) Visit any MyStudio location and record your audition videos free of charge.

5) Create a free MyStudio profile, activate your videos, set each video as “Private”
    (include your APPLICATION NUMBER on the “TAG” line when you activate your videos).

6) Click the “Enter” button below and follow the easy steps for each audition video being submitted.
    You will receive a confirmation email stating that your upload was successful.

Note: Your videos will automatically accessible by The GRAMMY Foundation when you click on the Submit Button.
         There will be no need to send DVDs of your performances if you upload to MyStudio.net.

Video Format: H.264, MPEG-2 or MPEG-4
Aspect Ratio: Native aspect ratio without letterboxing (examples: 4:3, 16:9)
Resolution: 640x360 (16:9) or 480x360 (4:3)
Audio Format: MP3 or AAC preferred
Frames per second: 30
Maximum length: 10 minutes
Maximum file size: 512 MB
